There are several rock climbing locations around Gresse en Vercors: cliffs, boulders and routes of different levels to make you go to higher ground. Experience unique emotions in a breathtaking environment.
Serpaton area
The Serpaton area has two rock cliffs with 45 routes in all. Climb with an amazing view on the Trièves, Ecrins and Dévoluy ranges.
Mont-Aiguille
Set off to conquer the famous Mont Aiguille (literally Mount Needle), one of the seven wonders of the Dauphiné area. It said that mountaineering was born here in 1492, when Antoine de Ville first climbed up the Mont Aiguille.
Organized outings
Several guides are available to organize outings for beginners or more advanced climbers, or to climb the Mont Aiguille (with an option to bivouac on the summit).

Vercors Trièves Climbing Guide
A booklet, made by the Climb Vercors-Trièves organisation, is available for sale at the Tourist Office. It describes the Les Deux boulder area, the Serpaton area, as well as the easy routes up the Mont Aiguille.
