Gresse-en-Vercors, highest village in the Vercors range, is located at 1200m in the Vercors-Trièves region. The Grand Veymont, highest mountain in the Vercors (2341m) towers over this village of 380 inhabitants.

Both a village and a ski resort, with activities to offer in summer and winter alike, Gresse en Vercors is located in the Vercors Nature Regional Park. It is surrounded by stunning landscapes: the East Vercors cliffs, pastures, woodland, forests, rivers... Nature lovers can set off hiking from the village to explore the Nature Reserve of the Vercors Hauts Plateaux.
