Vercors Nature Park

Gresse-en-Vercors is one of the 85 villages of the Vercors Nature Regional Park. The park was created in 1970 and covers a surface of over 206 200 hectares.

The Vercors mountain range is an outstanding area that owes its harmony to the fine balance between the influence of its geology (limestone), its climate (mountain and continental) and of the presence of Man (pastoral, farming, forestry and touristic activities).

The mixture of these influences has created an extraordinary natural heritage and has contributed to the diversity of environments and species to be found in the area.

A land of nature and culture to discover or rediscover to your heart's content on foot, snowshoes, skis, mountain biking or horseriding .
